When it is appropriate and you are happy to proceed to the concept
plan stage you will be required to sign a Work Order Agreement and pay a
deposit of $1500.00 (plus G.S.T) which is required at this time to cover
the cost of proceeding to the next stage. We will then prepare the
initial concept plan, which will include:
Computer Designed Concept floor plan.
Front Elevation of
your home.
An estimate of the
expected completed house price.
Time Frame:
Allow 14 to 18 working days from your initial discussion for the
preparation of these concept drawings, we will advise you when they are
available.
Drawings
After
you have received the initial concept plan and made the alterations to
suit your requirements, our design consultant will establish an estimate
of the expected completed house price. This price is subject to soil
reports, engineer slab, footings, frame and council requirements being
obtained for your property.
If you are happy to proceed further to the next stage of preparing
drawings, you will then be required to sign a Work Order Agreement
authorizing us to proceed. A further payment will be required at this
time to cover the cost of proceeding to the next stage.
Working Drawings
Completed by a draftsperson, these drawings include floor plans, site
plan, kitchen plan and four elevations.
The working drawings are taken to a stage that will meet all relevant
local authority Building consent requirements. The specifications and
room schedules for your home will also be discussed and finalised at
this time.
Time Frame:
Allow approximately 6 to 8 weeks for the completion of Working
Drawings.
Nu-Trend Designer Homes will arrange Engineering Drawings and
Building Consents for you. These costs are additional to working
drawings and will be charged at cost.

Drawing Costs are based on a fee
scale and depends
on the type and extent of work.

Acknowledgement and Authorisation:
Prior to the work being undertaken for you, we require a simple form
to be signed, which covers the various cost components of the service.
This is done to ensure that you have a complete understanding of your
obligations.
After
the working drawings are completed Nu-Trend Designer Homes will
co-ordinate with your nominated builder to fully cost the home and
present you with a fixed contract price.
From this point and after consultation with you, we can proceed to
put together for you a fixed price Building Contract and associated
documentation with your nominated builder.
Our Exchange Policy:
Since design plans are printed in response to your order and include,
your name and site address etc. we cannot honour requests for refunds or
returns.

The designer's associated with us and ourselves have put substantial
care and effort into the creation of our Design Plans. As we cannot
provide on-site consultation, supervision and control over actual
construction and because of the great variance in local building
requirements, building practices, soil, weather and other conditions.

When
you have purchased your chosen home design we will authorize the use of
that plan as an aid in the construction of one single family home only.
You may not use this design to build a second or multiple dwellings
without purchasing another Design Plan or Design Plans and paying
additional design fees.
